This page will have pictures of the Geneva Library site in due course. This site has been preserved, and whilst the internal areas have been partitioned into flats the main fabric of this wonderful building remains. For now, I have uploaded a scan of a poster from the library.

[Above] This is the front of a small poster about the Bideford College library at Geneva Place. The building has been partitioned into flats, but remains largely untouched externally.

[Above] The back provides information about the services offered by the library, the location of which is shown on a map. Neither internet access nor printing services were available here in 1986!


The picture below shows a card used by the college photocopying account system. The system worked through a card swipe machine which enabled the photocopier, and (I assume) recorded copying quantities to a centralised account. It was recently rediscovered after having been donated several years ago, and it's likely this card would have been a very closely controlled item.
